Description: Used primarily on Residential well water, the Scorpio is a complete package when chlorination is not an option. This system is a cubic foot of Greensand with a garnet filtration bed. It uses a potassium permanganate feeder to oxidize the iron in the water. With the 268 Logix backwash, the valve can be set to backwash or clean itself for longer periods of time. We couple the filter with a 48000 grain Pisces Softener in a 10x54 polyglass tank to give a homeowner complete well water treatment. Additional medias are available for other contaminants.
